Dr. Block and her therapists provide several different forms of therapy custom-tailored to our clients’ personal needs, including our world-renowned, 24/7 telephone therapy services.
We recognize that most people cannot come into our LA offices for individual counseling or therapy sessions, nor are we always open for in-person appointments. But you can call us anytime, from anywhere, whenever you need to talk. We’re as close as your phone.
Telephone Therapy Services
Since the discussion of love, relationships, intimacy and related issues is often an extremely private matter, our telephone services are our most popular, and in most cases, our most effective form of counseling, life coaching and therapy. More than 30 years ago, Dr. Block pioneered the practice of therapy over the telephone. Our global network makes it possible for us to work with you no matter where you are in the world. Moreover, while in-person sessions are available by appointment only, and in-person appointments must be made at least a week in advance, our phone therapy service is on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. No appointment is necessary for telephone therapy.
Yes, anytime you need to talk, our therapists are just a phone call away. Totally private, absolutely confidential, we listen, guide you, advise you, educate you and help you with anything from relationship issues to stress problems, fears to desires, dating to marriages. The sky is the limit, but we’re very down-to-earth.
No subject is off limits.
We use a variety of different therapeutic systems, including our proprietary therapeutic techniques developed over the past three decades, in-depth client interviews and analysis, healing exercises, confidence building, guided relaxation, focused imagination, role-play, hypnosis, life coaching, relationship counseling, dating tips and many other methods and approaches. Your therapy is tailor-made for you to suit your personal needs.
If you’ve never called before, you needn’t be nervous or embarrassed. We all need help with personal issues at one time or another. Even world leaders do. In fact, many of our clients are world leaders, including politicians, movie stars, tech moguls, religious leaders, oligarchs and influencers. Though of course, we would never divulge their identities… or yours.

Privacy Statement
All telephone sessions are absolutely private, discreet and confidential. Though Dr. Susan Block herself is world-renowned, she and all of her therapists are extremely scrupulous about maintaining the complete privacy of her clients. No records are kept on computers and we do not share information with any third parties. Financial Considerations
The hourly rates for most of our other therapists is $240 per hour, but you are only billed for the therapy time you use.
The rate to talk with Dr. Block is $270 per hour. Some of our celebrity phone sex therapists are the same rate.
Since many of our clients do not wish to speak for a full hour, for financial reasons, time constraints or perhaps they just have a simple question, we also charge by the minute. So that’s $4.50 per minute to talk with Dr. Block, and $4.00 per minute for one of our other therapists, with the minimum session being $48 for 12 minutes.
Our Webcam Sex Therapy service is $5.00 per minute, also with a 12-minute minimum.
OUR PRIVACY POLICY
The Dr. Susan Block Institute provides you with a level of security that very few organizations can provide. No record of your information, calls, credit card or any other personal details is kept on our computers or anywhere on the Internet. The Dr. Susan Block Institute does not sell, lease, rent, loan or in any way provide your information to any third parties.
